The Kentucky Science & Engineering
Foundation (KSEF) offers the Kentucky SBIR/STTR Phase Zero and Double
Zero grant
program. These funds are earmarked for the development of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business
Technology Transfer (STTR) proposals. The goal of the SBIR/STTR Phase Zero
grant is to assist Kentucky’s new and existing small businesses and college and university faculty
with the preparation of high-quality, competitive Phase I proposals
for submission to participating federal SBIR and STTR programs.
The goal of the SBIR/STTR Phase Double Zero grant is to assist
Kentucky’s new and existing small businesses with the preparation of
high-quality, competitive Phase II proposals for submission to
participating federal SBIR and STTR programs.

How to apply?
:
1) Download the appropriate Request for Proposals
(RFP) below,
2) Click on the link to 'start a new application',
3) Finalize the online application and print a copy,
4) Mail the signed hard copy and attachments to KSEF.

Reminders:
- In addition to the online application, biographies and
letters of intent should be uploaded electronically through the
application process.
- Hard copies/originals of all electronically submitted material must also be
mailed to KSEF.
Suggestions for Preparing the Application:

option above to download the form). Additionally, we recommend that you
